For the past 60 years, each hard task accomplished by a human’s fixed pair of hands required a different robot designed for each task. But this is about to change with OpenAI’s new robot hand which was trained to solve the Rubik’s cube, puzzle considered as one of the most complicated in the world.
This development presents an important milestone because it allows the robot to overcome random challenges by applying logic, and then applying what the algorithm says to complete the task.
