Whoever said iPhone X is the best smartphone is seriously mistaken. Just a few days after iPhone X’s release, Huawei, China’s top phone maker is beginning to challenge Apple Inc. on its home turf. The Kirin 970, Huawei’s own Neural Processing Unit overtakes Apple’s Neural Engine (A11) on various fronts. Kirin’s CPU core are faster (64-bit octa-core compared to A11’s 64-bit 6-core) and its LTE capacities are more updated (LTE Cat 19 vs. A11’s LTE Cat 8). Both processors are both energy efficient.
