The International Monetary Fund (IMF) reports that approximately 36% of jobs in the Philippines are highly exposed to artificial intelligence (AI), which could either displace workers or enhance productivity. According to the study, 14% of the total workforce in the Philippines could be replaced by AI, with more women at risk of job displacement due to their higher representation in clerical and service roles.

That’s 11.3 million families who say that they are poor, 2.9 million experiencing hunger. Now, imagine what can happen with the increase in unemployment and underemployment!
